Luigi Amodio

Biography:

is the Director of Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza in Naples (Italy), city where he was born (1962) and actually lives. He is currently scientific director of the Annual National Meeting on Science Communication (SISSA-IDIS); member of the Scientific Council of the Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali (Trento); director of Science Events at the Ravello Summer Festival; involved in several projects, funded by European Union, on Science and Society and Social Participation in Science and Technology.
Luigi Amodio has been Professor of Museum Communication at the Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II” and member (2002-2010) of the ECSITE (European Association of Science Centres and Museums) Annual Conference Program Committee.
