Biography:
Ziya Bahtiyar started his career as a programming teacher in a computer course. He worked as an editor in PC World/Turkey magazine. Besides, his articles about IT, technology and mobile technology were published on various magazines. He founded and managed the IT Department of International Data Group (IDG) Turkey. He was the responsible for Komdatasoft Microsoft Certified Support Center. He was a volunteer in Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) and there he made workshops on electronics and robotics.
Ziya Bahtiyar worked in collaboration with Irfan Sayar, the comic drawer of “Porof. Zihni Sinir”, to create new projects on robotics. He founded “Robotics Club” in the schools he worked at and contributed in many students’ creating their own projects.
His 3 books on computer and robotics have been published. Since 2010, he has been working at Terakki Foundation Schools as a Science Projects Coordinator.
