Biography:

Ayman Elsayed is the head of Learning and Outreach Programs at Legacy Co., the Operator of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). He got his Bachelor degree of Communication Engineering from Alexandria University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Arab Academy of Science and Technology. His experience in managing informal educational programs has developed over 20 years through leading the Planetarium Science Center, from 2009-2022, supervising educational activities, dedicated to children and the public at large. He moved to the GEM in 2022 to establish and supervise the educational component of this great national project.


Plus his duties, Ayman is an advisory board member of the Smithsonian Science Education Center. He served as a member of the National Council of Culture and Knowledge from 2018-2021, advisory board member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) magazine “Dimensions”, plus multiple national committees related to the informal education field. He is the founding chair of Compete NGO, an Egyptian foundation dedicated to youth development.
