Islam Elhamshary is a seasoned Product Manager and Project Coordinator with over 10 years of experience in the EdTech and STEM education sectors. He currently serves as the AI Project Coordinator at the Planetarium Science Center (PSC) in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where he leads the integration of Generative AI, Robotics, and Computer Vision into educational programming. Previously, he is serving as the Head of the Design Unit at the PSC, acting as a Product Manager to develop and launch innovative interactive educational products.

Throughout his career, Islam has spearheaded the development of over 80 high-quality interactive products and managed large-scale museum renovations, including the ALEXploratorium and the Tanta Science Museum. His technical expertise spans AI integration, Python programming, and hardware/software co-design.

An active contributor to the international science center community, Islam served as a member of the "NAMES Making and Tinkering Committee" (2022-2023) and has a proven track record as an instructor in the NAMES 2018 conference, focusing on interactive product development.
