Sawsan Dalaq is the Director of the Children’s Museum Jordan, a leading Museum in both Jordan and the Arab region. The Children’s Museum was established in 2007 through the vision and support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah; it aims to support the national learning and educational agenda.
In her current position, Ms. Dalaq is leading the process of taking the Children’s Museum to the next level by enhancing its services, programs, and educational content. The Museum also developed a Master Plan for the renovation of its exhibit hall, as well as setting key priorities and objectives for the next few years to better adapt to local and regional challenges.
Previous experience includes: Director of e-Initiatives at Jordan’s Ministry of ICT where she led the Government’s efforts in capacity building in the ICT sector and in bridging the digital gap through education and community development. She also held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations at the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah where she was responsible for setting-up and running the EU Information and Communication Center in Jordan.
Ms. Dalaq is a graduate of the University of Sussex in the UK, where she studied International Relations and Development
