The Opening Ceremony of NAMES 2024 Conference at Konya Science Center, Turkey, featured the presentation of the fourth Mijbil Almutawa Award to Ms. Amira Mahmoud Ibrahim—Interior and Interactive Exhibit Designer, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center, Egypt—whose award was a full grant to participate in the Biennial Conference and Pre-Conference EMME MasterClass 2024.

About the Winner of the Mijbil Almutawa Award 2024

Amira has been involved in the design and development of interactive exhibits, scientific exhibitions, and conferences in Egypt, creating meaningful experiences for the people who use and interact with them. Her role is to design all aspects of the environment: the interior spaces, exhibits’ showcases, the circulation and visitors’ journey at the science center, and the integration of new technology.
