The Monastir Science Palace organized the 6th edition of the Science Festival 12–14 April 2019. The Festival aims to motivate children and youth in particular to innovate and keep abreast of modern science and technology. It also aims to promote scientific research in Tunisia by creating links between the different economic segments, universities, and educational institutions.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, organizes the closing ceremony of the BA Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF), on Monday 18 March 2019, whereby 3400 projects were presented by 5100 students.

The BA celebrates the re-opening of the Planetarium Theatre after months of upgrading, with a new advancement in the projection system using the latest laser technologies, in addition to renovating the theatre to accommodate more people. This new projection system is the latest in planetarium operating systems in the world as it provides a brighter and more impressive vision, with an exciting simulation of reality.

The BA Planetarium Science Center organizes its 2019 mid-year program for children and young people aged 4-19 years, from Sunday, 20 January 2019 to Thursday, 7 February 2019.

Al Nayzak Organization unveiled its flagship Innovation Park in East Jerusalem under the theme of "Building the Future". Jerusalem Innovation Park. JIP is the first of its kind holistic complex for education, learning, science communication and culture, focusing on the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Math (STEEM) at the heart of East Jerusalem. The project is being developed and will be built in partnership with the European Union and in cooperation with UNOPS, ISDB, and Consolidated Contractors Co. –CCC.

Shortage of science centers and museums in the Arab world is one of the obstacles hindering the dissemination of scientific culture among societal sectors. Science centers and museums introduce science in a simplified and attractive way. They show people of different ages and cultural levels that sciences are not rigid or difficult to understand, and can be fun. This would create a new perspective for sciences and their different applications, and would contribute to enriching the knowledge of societies.

Science Festivity 2017 will celebrate its eleventh year. The event will offer a variety activities including plenary sessions, hands-on workshops, interactive exhibits, in addition to the extraordinary Super Science Show and the Black Theater.

Every year The Children's Museum Jordan hosts an international science show from abroad to let the visitors of schools and families enjoy science in creative demonstrations.

Within Intel BASEF’s closing ceremony program, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center organized an interesting lecture by the adventurer Omar Samra, the first Egyptian to climb Mount Everest and the seven summits, the first Egyptian to ski the North and South poles, and future astronaut with XCOR Aerospace, with Mohamed Sallam, the only Arab and Egyptian Mars astronaut candidate. They talked about the launching of Make Space Yours in Alexandria.

The Monastir Science Palace (MSP) is organizing its fourth Science Festival under the slogan “A Gathering of Innovation, Creativity, and Communication”, on 8−9 April 2017.
