The Children’s Museum Jordan celebrates welcoming 2 million visitors since its opening in 2007. During the previous 9 years, the Children’s Museum Jordan (CMJ) welcomed a growing number of the schools and families visits. It is worth mentioning that CMJ welcomed more than 250,000 visitors in 2015.

On this occasion, Ms. Shireen Sabanegh, the deputy director of CMJ, said: “This achievement is a proof from 2 million visitors regarding the effective role of the Children’s Museum Jordan and its mission to diffuse the informal education.” And she added: “I thank CMJ’s staff and all the supporters, partners and teachers, as well as our visitors, as what we achieved today is due to your true belief in our mission and what we offer. Congratulations to the visitor number 2 million, Mr. Moussa and his family, and congratulations to CMJ for this achievement”.

The Children’s Museum Jordan is a non-profit educational organization, launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2007, whose mission to encourage children to be more curious for knowledge. The Museum is located on 8,000 sq. meters, which offers over 150 indoor and outdoor permanent exhibits and educational facilities including the library, Tinker lab and art studio along with year-round educational programs and events for children from 1 to 12 years old.
