Biography:

Yener Yalçın was born in Turkey and received his high school and college education in Turkey. His latest academic credential is from Hacı Bektaşı Veli University. He had always been interested in planetariums, telescope observations and compiled a project about astronomy. Yener’s career is filled with activities and conventions about astronomy and skies. Yener served at West University Planetarium of Johannesburg for 8 months in 2011 as a visiting planetarian. Yener served as the planetarian of Sakarya Municipality Planetarium between the years of 2011 – 2016. Yener has been employed as the planetarian of Bursa Science and Technology Center since March 2016. Yener is happily married with a daughter. His research interests are: physics, astronomy and space sciences, electronics, full dome movie productions, programming languages and music.
