Biography:

Sümeyye Ceylan holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Vienna and completed her master's in Fast Fourier Transform, along with a second master's in pedagogy at the same university. She also pursued studies in Astronomy at Vienna Kuffner Observatory and is currently undertaking doctoral studies in the Department of Philosophy, Philosophy of Education at Istanbul Medeniyet University.



Throughout her career, Ceylan has been actively involved in various projects, specializing in the design of experience programs for science centers, space houses, and science exhibitions. Engaging in the fields of educational program design, scientific experience design, scientific curatorship, and game design, Ceylan is one of the founders of Usturlab. As a science center curator and education designer, she focuses on designing educational content, games, educational materials, and spaces, including scientific exhibitions and science centers, with the aim of reforming the education system and promoting a child-friendly methodology based on play and imagination.
