Biography:

Carla did her bachelor in Industrial Design and with her graduation project, she received a Red Dot Design Award, in 2009. With a multidisciplinary range of early work experiences - architecture, graphic design, point of purchase and branding agencies -, she went to Milan to do her M.Sc. at the Politecnico di Milano, in Product Service System Design. After returning to Brazil, Carla joined an international design consultancy in Sao Paulo focused on tailored innovation, where she gained deep expertise in Design Research & Strategy for brands, products and services. After moving to Turkey, in 2016 Carla started her journey in Design Leadership at ATÖLYE, an award-winning strategic design and creative platform specialized in multidisciplinary collaborations, where she now works as the cross-practice Design Director.
