Lessons from Student Voices:
What Kids Teach Us About Museum Design

This workshop invites participants to experience the process of designing a mobile museum journey through the perspective of two distinct student age groups: elementary and high school. Using real qualitative insights from Saudi Arabian students, participants will first create their own visitor journey concepts, then encounter authentic voices and reflections from the students themselves in an immersive “silent gallery.”

By comparing their design choices with actual research findings, participants will uncover hidden assumptions, recognize cultural and developmental differences, and extract practical principles for youth-centered exhibition design.
