Dear NAMES Community and Partners,
In light of the ongoing regional developments, NAMES 2026 Organizing Committee and our Host, The Scientific Center of Kuwait (TSCK), have made the decision to reschedule the upcoming conference to 13-15 October 2026.
Why we are making this change: Our primary commitment is to the physical and emotional safety of our participants, speakers, and staff. We believe that October offers a more stable environment for us to gather, exchange ideas, and foster the collaborative spirit that defines the NAMES network. By moving to this new window, we also ensure that our partners and contributors—who are managing complex schedules in the region—can participate fully and without distraction.
What this means for you:
-
Registration: All current registrations remain valid. We will be reaching out to all registrants shortly with updated details regarding travel and accommodation.
-
Call for Contributions: We remain committed to the program we have built. Your session proposals and contributions are securely held and will be adapted to the October schedule.
-
Support: We appreciate your patience as we finalize these logistical shifts. Our goal is to use this additional time to enhance the conference program and ensure that NAMES 2026 is an even more impactful experience for everyone.
We are incredibly grateful for the understanding and solidarity shown by our members during these challenging times. We look forward to welcoming you to Kuwait in October for a truly memorable conference.
Sincerely,
NAMES 2026 Organizing Committee
