Merve Koçoğlu was born in Ankara in 1990. After graduating from Haydarpaşa Anatolian High School, she completed her Physics Teaching degree at Boğaziçi University, graduating third in her class, and successfully completed her Master's degree in Science and Mathematics Education. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in Learning Sciences at Boğaziçi University.

Between 2014 and 2017, she conducted workshop-based science education programs for gifted students. In 2017, she joined the Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation and served as the coordinator of science workshops from 2018 onwards. From 2018 to 2020, she served as the Head of the Instructor and Student Commission at Deneyap Turkey.

Currently, as the Education and R&D Coordinator at the T3 Foundation, she coordinates the educational processes of Bilim Türkiye, Keşif Kampüsü, T3 Akademi, and Baykar Fen Lisesi, and also conducts scientific reports and academic publication work related to foundation projects.
