“The Dream of Flying…Can Now Be a Reality” at the Discovery Place in The Scientific Center Kuwait

The Scientific Center Kuwait proudly opened its first of many travelling exhibits entitled Flight! The exhibits includes 17 interactive stations in the space of 460 square meters, ranging from testing your piloting skills, to learning about present day aviation and air traffic. The exhibition has been produced by Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre with support from aviation experts, and in particular, Finnair and the Finnish Aviation Authority.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center Inaugurates the Upgraded Planetarium

On 18 October 2009, the BA Planetarium Science Center inaugurated the Planetarium after a huge upgrading. Thanks to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, the Planetarium now operates a cutting-edge full-dome Digistar3 projection system with a rich set of real-time 3D astronomy features and a wide database of celestial bodies that enables the audience to explore the universe as never before.

The Tunis Science City Contributes to the Celebration of Kairouan as Capital of Islamic Culture

The Tunis Science City has largely contributed to this event through a rich and varied activity.Program involving a hands-on exhibit entitled “On The Road to Kairouan”, a photo gallery and architecture models related to the monuments of Kairouan, “As Time Goes By” outlining the main steps in the history of sciences of Kairouan during the Aghlabide and the Sanhagite era.
