Abu Dhabi, UAE, 06 November 2016: Calling the next generation of Stephen Hawkings and Albert Einsteins – tickets for the highly anticipated Abu Dhabi Science Festival are now on sale on the Festival’s official website: www.abudhabisciencefestival.ae. The award-winning Abu Dhabi Science Festival (ADSF), will be staged at the family-friendly Umm Al Emarat Park and Al Ain Zoo from 17-26 November.
The 10-day extravaganza, organized by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), aims to produce world-class learners through action-packed and fun-filled activities who personify a strong sense of culture and heritage and are prepared to meet tomorrow’s global challenges.
40% of this year’s fun-filled activities and workshops will be provided by local companies including the Small Inspector Workshop provided by Abu Dhabi Food Control, the Esref Sah Workshop for budding bankers and future investors provided by the Emirates Foundation, and the Spinning Noise Maker workshop, provided by Designpod UAE, where people get up-close and personal with the science of sound, to name a few.
The event, which is part of the UAE Innovation Week, has increased this year by 20% with significantly more drop-in activities. There will be 67 activities in total – this is up from last year’s 56 activities.

Parents are advised to check the programme and book tickets online early in advance to avoid disappointment. The Festival fee at Umm Al Emarat Park will be AED 5 for adults 16 years and above, AED 10 for children over 4 years and free for children 4 years and below, including the park entrance fee. The Festival in Al Ain Zoo is free to attend with only the entrance fee to Al Ain zoo charged.
