NAMES Secretariat Office (SO), hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Egypt, is seeking to recruit a Communication Freelancer to be paid per task:
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and translate content for the network’s website, according to the guidelines set by NAMES Secretariat.
- Write, edit, translate, and/or post social media items to promote the network, its activities, its members, and its message in general, according to the guidelines set by NAMES Secretariat.
- Contribute to writing and disseminating articles, interviews, and blurbs via email shots, e-newsletter, and/or other publications.
Requirements
- Excellent written English and Arabic; French would be an additional asset.
- High-level editing, translation, and research skills.
- Good understanding of key messaging structures.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- Proficiency in social media platforms especially Facebook and Twitter.
