Victoria College Science & Engineering fair (VCSEF)

Under the Umbrella of Intel Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science & Engineering Fair, Victoria College has organized the first internal school fair, where students were able to test their abilities and learn how to go through a research project.

Victoria College Science & Engineering fair (VCSEF) took place in Victoria College from 27-28 December 2011. The event was a success; 37 projects in eight different categories participated in VCSEF. Six participated projects were from El Nasr Girls College (E.G.C.), and the rest was from Victoria colleges students.

The first three grand awards projects have been nominated to participate directly in Intel BASEF 2012. First Place award went to Youmna Elsharnouby, Fatma Emad, and Panccee Alaa from EGC for their project" Sense your pulse" in the Engineering Category; the second place went to Yara Hesham, Nadine Mohamed Hanafi, and Shaimaa Mostafa Elmaraky from EGC for their Project “Saving Water” in the Environmental Category; the third place award went to Sahir Ghali from VC for her project " Insulin Boom" in the Medicine and health Category.

The PSC aspires, by implementing this long-term project, to increase Egyptian youth’s interest in Science, Engineering and Scientific Research and the vital role it plays in human advancement to inform, educate and inspire.
