Murat Kırgız was born in 1988 in Konya. He graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Physics in 2012, and obtained his Master’s degree in Physics Education in 2018. From 2008 to 2021, Mr. Kırgız provided private tutoring in physics, science, and mathematics. Between 2011 and 2012, he served as an Education Specialist in Physics and Mathematics at Cem Kaya Education Institutions. In 2013–2014, he worked as a Physics Instructor, and Values Education–Education Coaching Coordinator at Envar Education Institutions. Mr. Kırgız joined the Konya Science Center in 2014; he served as an Education Guide and Part-time Staff Supervisor (2014–2018) then held the position of Education Affairs Coordinator (2018–2024). As of 2024, he continues his role as the General Coordinator of the Center. Mr. Kırgız is married and has one child.
