The Children's Museum Jordan is an institution for informal education that was established in the capital of Jordan, Amman, in 2007, through the vision of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to provide Jordan’s future generations with a space for interactive learning. The Museum supports children's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development, as they have the freedom to think independently and question the world around them. Spreading over 8,500 square meter space, the Museum houses more than 185 educational and interactive exhibits and facilities; where children can explore the intriguing world of science and arts.

Moreover, the Children’s Museum Jordan provides interactive educational programs and specialized workshops and courses focused on STEAM, visual arts, early childhood development, and literacy subjects throughout the year.

In addition to its primary mission to build generations that seek knowledge and make learning enjoyable for all, the Museum has developed an invaluable addition to its list of consultancy services available locally and regionally; the ‘Facilitator Training Program.’ It is the product of over 14 years working with children in informal educational environments; aiming to meet the needs and reinforce capabilities of social workers, education, childhood development, and child care professionals. The program is also available for organizations and individuals interested in acquiring the skills and approaches in children and youth field facilitation.

The Museum has intensified its efforts in 2020, utilizing its expertise and capabilities in the field, to recently starting the stage of production and self-manufacturing of its exhibits and products; all of which work on interactively developing children's knowledge and creative skills in specific topics including health and nutrition, linguistic and literary skills, financial literacy, art, problem-solving, manual skills, and innovation. The Museum has also further enhanced its capabilities during the lockdowns, developing more than 38 interactive educational programs for children aged 1-12 years; most of them were delivered online and are available on the Museum's e-learning platform ‘Hands-online.’

The Children’s Museum Jordan is unique in its ability to reach all children regardless of geographical abstains through its ‘Mobile Museum.’ This initiative was launched in 2012 to tour Jordanian cities and villages and share this rich educational experience with the children in remote areas. More than 340,000 children and visitors have enjoyed the Mobile Museum's stations and activities over the past 10 years.
