Sawsan joined the Children’s Museum Jordan in early 2011 as its Director. The Museum is one of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s NGOs and is focused on delivering non-formal and interactve learning to children under 12 years of age. The Museum serves over 280,000 visitors annually.
Sawsan’s background is in development with a focus on education and she was also President of the North Africa and Middle East Science centers network (NAMES) for two terms from 2014 to 2018. Sawsan is a strong believer in the value of culture, science and children’s museums as well as the impact they can have in supporting the formal learning structure.
