NAMES network is pleased to announce that we will join the first Arab Forum for Science Media and Communication as a partner. Moreover, you will meet four of our esteemed members through an interesting virtual session that will be held on Tuesday, 23 February 2021, 12:00-13:30 EET, where they will be discussing the challenges they have faced during the pandemic and sharing best practices and lessons learned.

The Arab Forum for Science Media and Communication (AFSMC) brings together science media professionals, science journalists and writers, science communicators, researchers and scientists, entrepreneurs and science policy makers virtually to discuss topics, share ideas, and exchange knowledge about science media and communication in the Arab World.

AFSMC aims to equip the science media and communication ecosystem in the Arab World with knowledge, experiences, and best practices from all over the world and the MENA region.

The Main Theme of the forum is “Building Capacities and Facing Challenges”. The event will hold short talks, panel discussions, interviews, workshops, case studies and virtual exhibitions.
