The North Africa and the Middle East Science centers network (NAMES) is participating in the second virtual edition of the Arab Forum for Science Media and Communication (AFSMC 2022). NAMES will be presenting a plenary session during the Forum on Sunday, 27 February 2022, 13:00-14:00 Cairo time. 

Under the title "The Future of Science Centers and Museums in the Region, NAMES esteemed members will highlight the role of science engagement institutions in the development of the world, how science centers and museums re-invent themselves for a better future, how they successfully involve the public in programs and activities, and what is needed to stimulate the development of science centers and scientific engagement activities in the developing world, and how to maintain financial sustainability.

It is worth mentioning that the AFSMC in its second edition aims to anticipate the future and enrich the Arabic content in the fields of science media and communication through exclusive meetings and intensive training courses, as well as creating a creative space that contributes to increasing the knowledge pool and sharing different visions in the Arab world.
