Education and Outreach; a New Approach

Formal education is always the method of teaching; yet, when we face bored students, we wonder: are we right? Yes, we are; all what we need is a new approach. Educational programming and outreach are both important means for achieving the mission of The Scientific Center of Kuwait (TSCK). Outreach develops a positive, reciprocal relationship between the schools and the center, which is a goal that all science centers should pursue. TSCK outreach program motivates and engages students through bringing professionals along with live animals and artifacts into their classroom environment; the schools reach out to the center looking to excite students and engage them in high-order thinking.
