Biography:

Owain has 20 years’ experience in creating interactive exhibitions, educational materials and programmes for museums, science centres, visitor attractions, cultural institutions and corporate organisations around the world. After graduating with Masters degrees in both Chemistry and the History of Science at the University of Oxford, Owain began his career as a curator at the Science Museum London. He worked on the museum’s iconic Wellcome Wing as an exhibition developer before joining its expanding commercial team delivering projects in the UK, USA and Azerbaijan.
In 2005 Owain joined the Life Science Centre then later moved to Techniquest, the UK’s longest established science centre, as Creative Director. Owain led Techniquest’s international commercial projects for 11 years, collaborating with a worldwide network of science centres, contractors and consultants. At KCA Owain manages projects and advises on areas including exhibition development, interpretational strategy, strategic planning and staff operations.
