Registrants and participants are encouraged to stay at the Intercontinental and take advantage of the special rates offered by the hotel or at any of the hotels mentioned in the following tables as they are customized for NAMES participants and near the Intercontinental Hotel where the conference will be held. Arrive to Jordan

It’s best to arrive at least one day prior to the conference, as it will give you time to settle down and prepare yourself.

Passport Control and Security

Once arriving to Jordan, you will be directed to passport control and Security, you might be asked for the reason of your visit, please have the information of your exhibiting at the conference (application of space or confirmation) or registration form if you are only attending the conference and where you will be staying.

Heading to your Hotel

Queen Alia International Airport is located 20 miles (32km) south of Amman, the capital city of Jordan. For participants arriving from outside Jordan, contact your hotel and arrange for a paid airport transport (to and from the airport) after supplying your full flight itineraries. Subsequently, Airport Taxi’s will be available with listed prices, please make sure you inform the driver of your destination and to take a receipt if you didn’t arrange for a pick-up prior to your arrival.

Transportation

Transportations to and from the Intercontinental, taxis are the most convenient form of transportation in Jordan. Private taxis are painted yellow and can be taken from ranks outside hotels or hailed in the street. Taxis have meters, but it is advisable to agree on the cost before getting on. It is advised for women to sit in the back of the taxi.
