Biography:

Shaikha started her career at Sharjah Museums Department (SMD) in 2013 as an Education Specialist in the Accessibility Services and Programmes Section. Her journey started by working hand in hand with different disabled and socially neglected groups to engage them at all levels in museums.

Shaikha participated in numerous important events and exhibitions such as: SAWA Summer School for Young Museum Experts (2015) in collaboration with Goethe-Institute Gulf Region, Staatliche Museen Berlin - Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz and University of Applied Sciences. She also presented a paper in Taweya: The National Exhibition for Society Awareness & Humanitarian Services (2015).

She participated in delivering a wide range of training sessions on how to deal with visitors with disabilities to museums' guides and curators based on international standards. Shaikha consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication to success.
