Biography:

Sean Gaffaney is a New Zealander who graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Canterbury, Christchurch. He started his career working at Science Alive! in Christchurch, New Zealand, a small interactive science center as part of the opening team. Then over the next twenty years he has worked for museums, science centers and exhibit contractors in places as far dispersed as the UK, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and the USA. In 2010 he moved to Abu Dhabi as Senior Manager - Technical Services and Zayed National Museum Senior Project Manager for TCA-Abu Dhabi where he worked on the development of the Zayed National Museum - one of the signature Museum projects on Saadiyat Island. He is currently working on the development and construction of the Abu Dhabi Science Centre (ADSC) on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee.
